UPLIGHTERS
These are lights that are put on the floor and illuminate the wall, creating a coloured hue on the wall. There are two types, one is like a spotlight, the other is like a bar. The spotlight creates a nice “pool” of light while the bars provide a more even illumination of the wall. Different colours create different effects. At the start of the night you may want a more formal and regal purple, later on changing to a more fun and zany red and when the dancing is happening or the music is playing you can change to multiple flashing colours. UV LIGHTS FOR HIRE IN LIMERICK CITY AND COUNTY
These are purple fluorescent lights that “pick out” dayglo colors or white clothing. They can create classic Saturday Night Fever disco effects, or they can pick out dayglo colours on clothing or make whites intense white. Because of the way they highlight colours you can turn the lights way down and still have good visibility in the room.

Goboflowers are the “standard” disco light you see in modern parties. Turning them on is a great way to say “it’s party time” and leave people know it’s time to leave their hair down.

All lights, with the exception of UV “Black” lights can be set to synchronize sound to light, or not, as required. You can change mode during the night and we can show you how to do that with the flick of a switch or two.
LIGHTS FOR DIFFERENT DECADES
If there’s a theme in your night of a particular decade your lighting can help create that effect. -The 70s were particularly associated with disco and the mirrorball is a mainstay of disco lighting even to this day. Get that Disco Inferno look by incorporating a mirrorball in your light setup. -The 60s were a time of psychedelia. Lava lamp type effects really conjure up that era. Other lights reminiscent of the 60s project out Kaleidoscope type effects and “oil wheel” lights. -The 90s were a time of “rave” type lighting even if you weren’t at a rave! Lights from this era include strobes, smoke machines and lasers.
